Message from the Director

Osato Clinic was established on March 1, 2001 for patients who want to receive medical care in Japanese without worry. During my specialist training, I helped many Japanese people and tourists who were having trouble getting their symptoms fully understood in English. I realized that there are many Japanese people in the South Bay area of Los Angeles and that there was a need for a Japanese hospital, so my wife and I opened this clinic. With the understanding and help of everyone, the small clinic we started has grown into a general internal medicine and gastroenterology hospital with 26 employees. Currently, we aim to be a family practice that treats the whole family. I am the primary care physician for many people. I believe that thetrue work of medicine is not just physical healing, but that it is healing of the mind and soul that makes it "holistic medicine" (To Make Man Whole Through Christ's Love).

In order to prevent patients from suffering from illness, we would like to focus more than ever on early detection through health checkups, preventive medicine, and health promotion through health education. To achieve this goal, we will constantly study and strive to provide the latest, high-quality medical care. We believe that medical care should be centered on the patient. We will provide medical care that puts the patient first, and respect patient rights. We will continue to listen to constructive feedback from our patients, and strive to be a clinic that can fully respond to it, renewing our spirit and working hard every day.
